Floriano Mini Garden Pot

Here is a cute and simple project to dress up your tables at your house! These would also be cute to give as a gift too!

I handmade the flower using the Floriano punch by McGill. I punched out six petals and then ran them through the cuttle bug using an embossing folder. I then took out the petals and very lightly shaded the petals with ink. I then took the petals and pinched them up on all six.
I took three and place them inside one another while alternating the petals. Do the same to the left over three to make two flowers.
I took the Starburst punch by McGill and added some fake stamens in the center. I punched out four brown and four dark red. I glued two red and two brown together and made two sets of fake stamens for the center of my flowers. I then added a flat back pearl to top it off.
I punched out four leaves using the Birch Leaf punch by McGill and shaded the edges. I added two sets to each flower.

After getting my flower together I then took a wooden skewer and attached one flower to one side and the other to the back side of where I placed the first flower. (so they matched up)

I then got a small clay pot and added some foam and ornamental grass.
I stuck the skewer in the center then added my ribbon to the edge to dress up the clay pot a little!

Very easy flower to create and a very simple project to make for your home or as a gift!

We'd love to see what you've creating using McGill punches. Be sure to post your projects to their Facbook page in the photos section. Soon, they will be featuring Facebook Fans on their blog. So get busy uploading those projects!!

I hope you create some of these cute pots ;)
Thanks for stopping by, please check out my personal page for classes and other projects coming soon using the mcgill punches!
